- Florida Critters, originally Human ponies & Pets in Florida & later Florida Pets, is a subsidiary of PLK Stables.
- Ponygroom and Ms Lyndsey were co-founders of Florida Critters along with darkestangel in 2008. darkestangel later moved out of state. Florida Critters is a human animal (human ponies, puppies, kittens, or whatever critter you identify as), therian, & furry role-play social group in Florida. Florida Pets was the first human animal role-play group to recognize the equality of all the different human animal roles. Because of this, the name was changed to Florida Critters. Since then, many other groups have started up around the US and the world who include this term as part of their name in conjunction with other animal roles (ie: Pony and Critters, Ponies & Critters, Critters & pets, etc.).
- Our monthly Zoo Days® events, r/t get-togethers, began at The Woodshed Orlando's original location in Altamonte Springs, Florida and over time, spread out to other locations around Florida. Zoo Days® is a registered trademark of Ponygroom Stables ~ A Division of PLK Stables ~ and may not be used by any other organization without prior written permission from Ponygroom Stables.
- Beginning in Sept. of 2011, Ms Authoritarian became a Dominant member of our House, PLK Stables. In so doing, she took over the leadership responsibilities of the Florida Critters group as its remaining founders, Ponygroom & Ms Lyndsey, moved on in a different direction & handed over the reins, leashes, and cages of the Florida Critters to Ms Authoritarian to lead this group into the future. During this time, Florida Critters' home base was The Phoenix Club in Largo, Florida. It was during this time that the Zoo Days® event would beome known as the Florida Critters' Fun Factory event.
- In June of 2013, Ponygroom & Ms Lyndsey resigned their positions as Ex Offico members of Team Florida Critters ~ the leadership board for Florida Critters, and they, along with Nonie, were removed as leaders of the Florida Critters FetLife group.
- On August 27, 2013, Ms Authoritarian gave up the leadership of Florida Critters and also left her service role to PLK Stables to pursue other interests. We thank her for her service and wish her God speed in her future endeavors. On this same date, the remainder of Team Florida Critters also resigned their leadership of the group to move on in a different direction. We also thank them and wish them well in their future endeavors. This leadership team did a superb job at leading Florida Critters. We salute them!
