Topic: “Protocols: Part I — What are they & are they for us?”

**NOTE:** Due to the extensiveness of this topic, we will be taking the January and February meetings to discuss protocols.

Topic Description:
~ You are in (or wish to be in) an M/s or D/s relationship. You have heard others in the lifestyle talk about protocols ~ low protocols, high protocols, or no protocols.
~ Recently, a female submissive was heard saying to her Dom, "We don't do protocols in our relationship. We don't believe in them." His answer, "You get and bring me coffee {or ______ (fill in the blank)} whenever I request."

What we will cover in Part I:

• What are protocols all about?
• What is the difference between low and high protocol?
• In our relationship ~ be that a couple or a group in an M/s or D/s relationship ~ do we want to include protocols of any kind ? If so . . what protocols do we want to include?
• What are the various kinds & types of protocols that can be present in M/s or D/s relationships.
• We will also look at slave positions ~ when they are used, their meanings and variances.

Ms Lyndsey,
Alpha,  PLK Stables

~ Ms Lyndsey has been in the life-style for more than 45 years. During these years she began her training as a slave and later moved on to be trained as a Domme. She is a believer in "paying it forward," and as such she has shared, and continues to share, her knowledge with others in the community.
~ Besides her current Alpha position with PLK Stables, during the mid to late 1970's, Ms Lyndsey served as the Alpha in a large private House in Eastern Virginia for almost 9 years where her primary responsibility to the House as its Alpha was the initial training of all House slaves or subs. During that 9 year period she performed the initial training of more than 300 new potential subs/slaves for this House. Besides being the Alpha of the House, Ms Lyndsey also served as the personal slave to the Assistant House Mistress (the daughter of the House Master & Mistress).
~ Ms Lyndsey was the spouse and also served as the House Alpha for Mistress Red for many years. While living in Indiana, Ms Lyndsey was the personal slave of Mistress Moth for 3 years before moving to Florida where she became the personal slave and House Alpha to Mistress Alchemy (formerly of Detroit), a position she held for 3 years.

"Although there are many different protocols, there is no one correct way to use protocols in an M/s or D/s relationship. As with everything in the lifestyle, what you do may not be what I do, but I respect your right to do it your way," Ms Lyndsey states.
